The backs of the keys. The felt is glued to all backs at once, then cut apart and trimmed. The lower keys guide on a rack in the back. A pin in the back of the key slides in a slot in the rack. The upper keys guide on a pin which goes through a slot in the key. The coupler dogs stick out of the bottom keys. The upper keys have lead weights in their ends.
